WIT Madrid 2026 will be held on February 6th.
The World Athletics Indoor Tour will return in 2026 with an extensive calendar of nearly 80 meets across all levels. Less than three months before the first GOLD-level event of the season, the meets, spread across 24 countries in Asia, Europe, and North America, have been announced, and the qualifying disciplines have been confirmed.
The WIT has grown from seven events in 2020 to 77 competitions for the 2020-2026 season. The next World Indoor Tour begins on December 13 in Bucharest, Romania (Challenger), and ends on March 12 in Uppsala, Sweden (Silver).
Eight Gold-level meetings are scheduled for 2026, beginning in Boston, USA, on January 24. The series culminates in Torun, Poland, on February 22, as athletes prepare for the 26th World Athletics Indoor Championships, which will take place at the same venue, Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena Torun, from March 20-22.

By 2026, the tests that will count towards the Gold level will be:
Women: 400m, 1500m, 60m hurdles, high jump, long jump
Men: 60m, 800m, 3000m / 5000m, pole vault, triple jump, shot put
The scoring is as follows:
1st = 10 points
2st = 7 points
3st = 5 points
º = 3 points
5st = 3 points
Each athlete's three best results will count toward their overall score. The athlete with the most points in each scoring discipline at the end of the WIT will be declared the winner and awarded a US$10,000 bonus. They will also be offered a wild card entry to the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy, Pomorze on the 26th.
Each gold meeting will offer at least US$7000 in prizes for each individual discipline in the program.
